Ambassador N. Oyundari is taking part in the 18th European Economic Congress, held in Katowice, Poland, from April 22 to 24, 2026. The congress is recognized as the largest business and economic forum in Central Europe, bringing together policymakers from the European Union, senior government officials, representatives of international organizations, business leaders, and academic experts.

The event provides a high-level platform for discussions on key global and regional issues, including economic development, the green transition, energy security, innovation, and regional cooperation. Participants exchange views on policy directions and explore opportunities to strengthen economic partnerships across Europe and beyond.

The previous, 17th edition of the congress, held in 2025, attracted around 18,000 participants, highlighting the scale and growing international significance of the forum. This year’s gathering is expected to continue that trend, offering a key venue for dialogue on pressing economic challenges and future development pathways.
