With the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth, the “HORECA Mongolia Conference & Festival 2026” will be held for the eighth consecutive year at the Misheel Expo Center on April 11.

The Government of Mongolia has identified tourism as a priority economic sector and continues efforts to improve service quality and standards across the industry. The annual event aims to support these goals by bringing together professionals, businesses, and international partners.

This year’s edition will be held under the theme “Gastro Nomad: Taste & Story,” focusing on Mongolia’s nomadic culinary heritage and its cultural narratives. The event also aligns with national policies to develop cultural tourism, promote traditional cuisine internationally, and strengthen the skills of young professionals in the hospitality sector.

The program will feature three main components. The “Gastro Nomad” festival will host competitions among chefs and bartenders, along with masterclasses and cultural performances highlighting both local and international cuisine. The “HORECA Conference” will bring together speakers from eight to ten countries to discuss global trends, standards, and innovations in tourism and hospitality. Meanwhile, the “HORECA Hub Zone” exhibition will showcase products and services from suppliers, offering opportunities for business networking, partnerships, and investment.
