The Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the SME Agency, and the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association, together with representatives of member organizations and businesses, held a working meeting with Mongolia’s newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between business associations and diplomatic missions, expanding foreign economic ties, and boosting exports and investment. Participants exchanged views and discussed practical steps to support these goals.

Opening the meeting, MNCCI President B. Lkhagvajav stressed the key role of diplomatic missions in expanding export markets and increasing private sector participation. He called on the newly appointed ambassadors to take an active role in promoting foreign trade and investment, and highlighted opportunities to increase non-mining exports.

Head of the SME Agency Ya.Erdenesaihan presented on opportunities for domestic producers to enter foreign markets, the challenges they face, and possible solutions through closer cooperation. The presentation was followed by a discussion among participants. Within the framework of the President’s “White Gold” program, Presidential Advisor B.Javkhlan outlined the current state of the wool, cashmere, and leather sectors, including export potential and existing challenges. Business representatives also shared their views and proposals.

Newly appointed ambassadors to 20 countries attended the meeting and expressed their readiness to work closely to strengthen bilateral trade and economic cooperation, support national producers, and attract investment.

Both sides agreed to further expand cooperation through diplomatic missions, with a focus on increasing the range and volume of export products.
