A Strategic Meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Republic of Korea was held on February 23, with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Amartuvshin Gombosuren and First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Park Yoonjoo leading their respective delegations.
During the meeting, both sides underscored the importance of sustaining the momentum of high-level and senior-level reciprocal visits and political dialogue in order to further strengthen and expand the Strategic Partnership between the two countries. The officials reaffirmed their shared commitment to deepening bilateral relations and broadening cooperation across all sectors.
The two parties agreed to continue close coordination to achieve tangible outcomes in bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, economy, education, and health. They also discussed efforts to improve travel conditions and facilitate greater people-to-people exchanges between the citizens of the two countries.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, the next Strategic Meeting will be held in Ulaanbaatar later this year.
