Mongolian dancer Amarjargal Enkhtuya secured a bronze medal at the 23rd Tanzolymp International Dance Competition held in Berlin, Germany.
This marks his second major achievement at the prestigious competition, having previously won a silver medal four years ago. With his latest success, Amarjargal has now raised Mongolia’s national flag twice at one of the ten major dance competitions recognized by UNESCO.
In addition to the bronze medal, he received special awards in the choreography and music composition categories. He was also invited to perform at the gala concert, sharing the stage with some of the world’s leading dancers.
Often described as the “Little Olympics” of the dance world, this year’s Tanzolymp brought together participants from 40 countries, with 17 nations earning medals. In the overall team standings, South Korea topped the medal table with six gold, four silver, and two bronze medals. Ukraine, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland completed the top five. Mongolia ranked 16th, securing one bronze medal.
