On January 5, 2026, Her Excellency Fiona Blyth, British Ambassador to Mongolia, paid a courtesy visit to the University of Finance and Economics (UFE).

During the visit, university representatives briefed the Ambassador on UFE’s key academic initiatives and international cooperation. These include the implementation of the Pearson (UK) BTEC programme, the internationally recognised ACCA programme delivered in partnership with BPP University, as well as UFE’s role as an official English Test Score Centre of the British Council.

The two sides exchanged views on the university’s ongoing projects and research activities, reviewed progress achieved so far, and explored potential areas for expanding future collaboration.

A formal meeting was held between Ambassador Blyth and R. Amarjargal, Chair of the UFE Board of Trustees and Director of the Global Institute of Economics.
