Deputy Speaker of Parliament, J.Bat-Erdene met with Ms. Shen Minjuan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia.
Deputy Speaker J.Bat-Erdene, who also chairs the Mongolia–China Parliamentary Friendship Group, exchanged views with Ambassador Shen on expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation as well as strengthening bilateral economic relations. The two sides held an open and constructive discussion on deepening cooperation across multiple sectors.
Both parties noted that in recent years Mongolia–China relations have continued to develop dynamically in all fields, with increased exchanges at high and senior levels. They highlighted closer alignment of development strategies, expanding trade and economic cooperation, and growing people-to-people understanding between the two countries.
Inter-parliamentary cooperation was described as an important pillar of the Mongolia–China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The sides expressed satisfaction with the continuity of mutual visits and agreed to place further emphasis on expanding economic cooperation going forward.
It was also noted that the Sixth Meeting of the Mongolia–China Inter-Parliamentary Permanent Mechanism was successfully held in Ulaanbaatar in April 2025, while the Seventh meeting is scheduled to take place in Beijing next year.
