The Government of Mongolia saw key leadership changes over the past week.

On last Friday, the Parliament appointed B.Enkhbayar as Minister of Justice and Home Affairs, formalized by a decree from Prime Minister G.Zandanshatar. B.Enkhbayar has 27 years of government service and previously served as Deputy Minister (2016–2018) and Minister (2023–2024) of the same ministry.

Earlier this week, on Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister S.Amarsaikhan announced his resignation through his official social media page, stating that he would no longer continue in the Cabinet. The Government Press Office later announced that he was dismissed for breaching his responsibility agreement.
