President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh awarded state medals to members of the Mongolian military contingent who successfully completed their duties in the United Nations peacekeeping mission in South Sudan.

The peacekeepers were recognized for representing Mongolia with honor, contributing to global peace and security through their courage, resilience, and professional skills.

Over the past year, the contingent carried out key tasks such as protecting civilians, ensuring the security of UN bases and staff, and supporting humanitarian operations, despite difficult conditions and harsh climate.
